As a young Realtor in the Bay Area, I can't escape the question: "How will I ever be able to buy real estate here?" I have often wondered the same thing, especially when I was just starting out as an attorney at a small nonprofit law firm in San Francisco.

This blog is for my friends - the ones I already know, the ones I have yet to meet and the readers whom I may never meet. They *we* want to know is it worth it and is it possible for us to buy a house, or maybe a condo-ized closet in the Bay Area. We also have no clue how to go about doing it (err, how about we start by working on that expensive Belgian beer habit?).
